A message from the Principal
We are proud to be part of Nene Education Trust, where children are provided with a range of opportunities during their school life to develop the whole child.
At Stanwick Primary School, we have extremely dedicated and committed staff that work to provide a range of experiences to enhance the learning journey that children will take throughout school. Our vision is for our pupils to leave our school with confidence in their own ability, believing that they can achieve far beyond the expectations of the curriculum.
If you would like to visit our school for a tour please contact the school office team on 01933 623117.

Our Aims & Ethos
We are driven by our 4 core Aims and our Ethos which feed into all that we do:
INSPIRE
ACHIEVE
RESPECT
CARE
At Stanwick Primary we strive to make our school a place that nurtures, inspires and challenges all pupils to believe and reach beyond themselves, be proud of their achievements and reach their full and unique potential.
Service Six will be running a parent session focused on Internet Safety. This session aims to support parents in understanding how children use the internet, social media and online games, and how to help keep them safe online. It will include practical advice, common online risks, and offer tips on setting boundaries and having positive conversations with children about their digital lives.
We hope this session will help parents feel more confident in supporting their children to use the internet safely and responsibly.
The session will run from 3.15 - 4pm in the Year 4 classroom.
We are excited to share with you that we have been invited to Stanwick Lakes to take part in the Seasonal Explorers Session. On the trip the children will learn about the weather and the seasons and how this affects wildlife. They will also have a chance to learn different art and design techniques and create their own Easter egg.
Please can children arrive at school at the normal time. The coach will be returning to school for the end of the school day; however, you will be kept updated via email if there are any delays.
On the day, please send your child to school with a packed lunch and a drink in a disposable bag. Once the children have had their lunch the items (including the drink) will be disposed of. Please can we remind you that we are a nut-free school. The children will need a named coat (a lightweight rain jacket even if it is due to be a sunny day), suitable shoes and if possible, a named hat if it is a sunny day. If the weather requires it, sun cream should be applied prior to coming to school. Children should wear their school uniform.
If your child suffers with travel sickness, please advise the school office/class staff. If you feel it’s appropriate, you will need to provide travel sickness medication for your child on the day.
