A message from the Principal
We are proud to be part of Nene Education Trust, where children are provided with a range of opportunities during their school life to develop the whole child.
At Stanwick Primary School, we have extremely dedicated and committed staff that work to provide a range of experiences to enhance the learning journey that children will take throughout school. Our vision is for our pupils to leave our school with confidence in their own ability, believing that they can achieve far beyond the expectations of the curriculum.
If you would like to visit our school for a tour please contact the school office team on 01933 623117.

Our Aims & Ethos
We are driven by our 4 core Aims and our Ethos which feed into all that we do:
INSPIRE
ACHIEVE
RESPECT
CARE
At Stanwick Primary we strive to make our school a place that nurtures, inspires and challenges all pupils to believe and reach beyond themselves, be proud of their achievements and reach their full and unique potential.
We are excited to share with you that we are planning to take the Ladybird class on a trip to Sacrewell Farm. This term we are learning about spring growth, plants and different vegetables. Next term our topic will include looking at various animals, so we feel the farm trip will compliment both topics. Plus, the experience of being on a trip with all their classmates is so memorable.
The children should come to school at the normal time of 8.40am. However, the barn door will be open from 8.30am. We are leaving promptly at 9am. We will be back in time for the normal end of the day at 3:10pm.
On the day, please can you send your child with a packed lunch and a water bottle to school. Please can we encourage you NOT to include sweets and chocolate bars and remind you that we are a nut free school. The children will need a named coat (a lightweight rain jacket even if it is due to be a sunny day), suitable shoes and if possible, a named hat if it is a sunny day. If the weather requires it, sun cream should be applied prior to coming to school. Children should wear their school jumper and polo shirt; however, they are able to wear comfortable trousers, jogging bottoms or leggings and comfortable shoes e.g. trainers.
If your child suffers from travel sickness, please advise the school office/Reception staff. If you feel it’s appropriate, you will need to provide travel sickness medication for your child on the day. We are really looking forward to the day and the experiences the children will have.
