Stanwick Primary School offers wrap around care to children each day that the school is open.  The Sunrise and Sunset Clubs are led by members of staff, who create fun, enjoyable sessions.

Parents are able to book sessions via the Arbor Parental Portal or Arbor App.

Sunrise Club (Breakfast Club)

Sunrise Club is open from 7.30am each weekday.  The club provides a gentle way in which your child can start their school day with activities such as colouring, Lego, crafts and reading.  In the summer months, there is also the opportunity to use our playing fields.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and the club provides children attending the long session with a variety of different options such as fruit, yogurt, toast and cereal.  Also, we also provide celebratory end of term breakfasts to encourage children to eat something a bit different such as croissants and more exotic fruits.

The club is spilt into two sessions; Long Session begins at 7.30am (including breakfast) and a Short Session begins at 8.20am.

Sunset Club (Afterschool Club)

Sunset Club is open until 6pm each weekday.  The club offers a variety of active and quiet activities for children to do, depending on what they choose.  Activities includes playing games (inside and outside), completing crafts, playing with Lego, board games etc.

The club is spilt into three sessions:

  • Long session finishes at 6pm and provides children with a light snack
  • Short session finishes at 4.30pm (with no snack)
  • Transfer from another club runs from 4.30pm – 6pm and includes a light snack

The light snack that is provided at the later sessions will be anything from a crumpet to a biscuit.  However, fruit and juice will be available throughout all of the afternoon sessions.

Parents and children are encouraged to offer any ideas of fun activities that children would like to take part in.  There is a box in the hall that they can put their ideas and the club leaders will look to implement.

Please contact the school office or email  if you would like to arrange to pay via the Government Tax-Free Childcare Scheme.  If there are any queries about the club, please contact the school office on 01933 623 117.
