Year 4 Trip to Abington Park Museum

We are excited to share with you that we are planning on taking the Badger class to the Abington Park Museum in Northampton. On the trip the children will learn about the Ancient Egyptians which is our topic next term.

Please can children arrive at school at the normal time. The coach will be leaving promptly at 9am and returning to school for the end of the school day, however you will be kept updated via email if there are any delays.

On the day, please send your child to school with a packed lunch and a drink in a disposable bag. Once the children have had their lunch, the items will be disposed of. Please can we encourage you NOT to include sweets and chocolate bars and remind you that we are a nut free school.  The children will need a named coat (a lightweight rain jacket even if it is due to be a sunny day), suitable shoes and if possible, a named hat if it is a sunny day. If the weather requires it, sun cream should be applied prior to coming to school. Children should wear their school uniform.

If your child suffers from travel sickness, please advise the school office/class staff. If you feel it’s appropriate, you will need to provide travel sickness medication for your child on the day.
